For anyone planning to attend Friday's varsity football game at Mt. Gilead, we will be offering pre-sale tickets in order to avoid the long lines on Friday night. Pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase in the athletic office on the following days/times. Tuesday 9/27: 12:30pm to 3:30pm Wednesday 9/28: 8:30am to 3:30pm Thursday 9/29: 8:30pm 2:30pm Pricing is as follows: Adults: $8 Students: $5 Anyone purchasing a pre-sale ticket will be able to enter through the pass gate and will not have to wait in line. We have been told that the gates will open at 5:30pm on Friday.

Opening dates for the career center application...see below! First Chance Enrollment Night Online Applications will be open Thursday, Nov. 17, 4:30 pm-midnight These applications will be provisionally processed by Dec. 9 Second Round Enrollment Applications will reopen Dec. 12, 8:00 am No application processing will occur until after Jan. 31. Priority Deadline January 31, 2023 (for all students: 10th, 11th, 12th) Then applications will be processed within two weeks as they come in after the Priority Deadline.

Just a reminder for those planning to attend the Fr/JV/V volleyball matches this evening at Mt Vernon. The freshman and JV will be playing at the same time and both matches will start at 5pm. The freshman match will be played in the fieldhouse and the JV/V matches will be played in their HS gym.

Both the Elementary and MS/HS will be collecting Coats for Kids from October 1-31st! please drop donations off in the offices.

The race schedule for today's cross country meet at Columbus has changed. The boys race will now start at 5:45pm, and the girls race will start at 6:20pm.

The Senior Sunrise that was scheduled for tomorrow morning has been moved to Tuesday due to weather. Same time, same place! Please email Mrs. Purdy or Ms. Pound with any questions.

Parents of Sophomores and Seniors, Our Herff Jones rep was in today (and at KCCC) passing out information regarding cap and gown orders and class rings. Attached is information for both. Order pick up day will be Thursday, September 22. Our rep will be at the KCCC @ 8am, and at CHS @ 12pm. If you would prefer a paper packet, we have extras here and at KCCC in the offices. The JV football game vs Loudonville that was scheduled for Monday 9/19 has been moved to Saturday 9/17 at 10am. For anyone planning to attend, the farm festival parade is scheduled to start at 10am. Please allow enough time to arrive prior to 10am to avoid the parade.

Tickets for this Friday's football game @ Loudonville must be purchased at the gate. It's cash only, $8 Adults/$5 Students. The game will not be live streamed.

Just a reminder for our fans as we continue in the fall sports season! Fan/Non-Participating student Ejection The KMAC, in order to provide a friendly, family environment at our games, is implementing an ejection policy similar to the one adopted by OHSAA. Anyone ejected from an event in which a KMAC school is participating, home or away, league or non-league will be denied access to contests as follows: First ejection: 2-weeks from any KMAC school game at any level and any location Second ejection: 1 year from any KMAC school game at any level and any location Any physical contact with an official, player, coach or another fan: Lifetime ban from any KMAC school game at any level and any location. APPEAL PROCESS: By the end of the next business day, any objection must be submitted in writing to one of the schools participating in the event in which the ejection occurred. The Commissioner of the League and an Administrator from each of the schools will review the appeal. The result of the appeal will be communicated as either Denied or Upheld to the appellant by the Commissioner.

Over 60 college reps will be at the Mount Vernon Fieldhouse on Sept. 27th @ 6:30 Stop in anytime between 6:30-8 to ask questions, gain knowledge of schools who have programs you are looking for, or to just start the process. No need to RSVP.

Today's MS golf match with Highland and Johnstown has been cancelled. There is no make-up date at this time.

MS/HS Parents - We did have a false alarm with our fire system today. The building was checked by the fire dept. and secured. All kids are back in the building and safe! A huge thank you to all of our first responders for arriving so quickly!
